My (Ridiculous?) Birthday/Christmas list

Many, many, many years ago, my mother asked me for a list of what I would like for my birthday/Christmas. Over the years, the lists have grown to include items ranging from the simple, to the ridiculous. They are now more of a "Wish List" than an actual list of items that someone (maybe you!) could afford to get.

But, think about it, if you knew someone who could get you anything you wanted, what would you ask for? I have left off things like immortality, x-ray vision, mind control, world peace, etc., as asking for them would be silly.

Is $2.8 million too much for a road car that can do 268 MPH? Not if you're rich enough to afford a $2.8 million road car that can do 268 MPH. Unfortunately, I am not. C'mon Lottery numbers!

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Not nearly as expensive as the Veyron, but still a nice(!) car. I think that this is one of the most elegant (dare I say "sexy"?) designs that Ferrari has produced. Not the fastest, but an absolutely beautiful car.


2011 Ford Mustang 5.0
A bargain-bin item compared to the two cars above. In my opinion, the best Mustang that Ford has produced (for the masses). Oh yeah, the 412 HP guarantees that I would go through the back tires much faster than the front ones. I would like it in Highlander Green, please. I would also need a tweed coat and a turtleneck.

A photography studio
I want to be a portrait photographer. Not like Sears or Wal•Mart. I want to photograph people in a way that captures who they are, not just what they look like. My living room is fine for now, but a studio would let me leave my equipment set-up and I could start shooting at a moments notice.

As a Graphic Designer/Illustrator/Photographer, I use it at work (actually CS4), but can't rationalize (or afford) it for home.
